Rules & Regulations

  1. The 14th MOE OLive Run 2024 is open to all MOE staff, Independent or Specialised Independent Schools, Specialised Schools, NIE trainees, MOE Seconded staff, MESRC Associate & Corporate members and Family Members.
  2. Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken by the Organisers to ensure the participants' safety, participants take part in this event at their own risks and the Organisers, their sponsors and their appointed officials shall not be liable for any death or injury, loss or damage, suffered or otherwise and howsoever arising.
  3. The Organisers reserve the right to delay the commencement of the race in the event of inclement weather. Should the inclement weather persist after delay, the Organisers reserve the right to cancel the race.
  4. All registrations are subject to availability and accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
  5. Event T-shirts and Race Number Bibs for all registered participants will be courier to Schools and HQ.
  6. The Organisers reserve the right to remove any participant deemed physically incapable of continuing with the race to prevent him/her from causing greater harm and injury to himself/herself.
  7. It is mandatory that all participants wear their race bib once the race has started. No running with bare torso is allowed.
  8. Participants must run on the designated path for the entire route. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
  9. Gun time will determine the positions or winnings for individual competition across all age gender categories.
  10. The Organisers reserve the right to use any photograph, motion picture recordings, or any other record of this race and its participants for any legitimate purpose, including commercial advertising.
  11. The Organisers reserve the right to limit and refuse entries without assigning any reasons thereof.
  12. The Organisers reserve the right to amend the Rules and Regulations without giving prior notification or any reasons thereof.
  13. All protests must be made at the Information Counter for race within 30 minutes of the release of results. A $50 protest fees will have to be submitted with the protest form which will be made available at the Information Counter.
